The whole world of cold forming.
No, we don’t screw things up. On the contrary. But yes, at HEMA everything revolves around these small metal parts that everybody knows and that are so versatile. Why is that so? Quite simply - because we feel very strongly about screws!
Established almost 75 years ago, HEMA ranks among the leading companies for sophisticated metal forming technology. After decades of family ownership, the company now belongs to the Keller & Kallenbach group but always remains true to its regional roots and identity. You can rely on HEMA!

The Best that Can Happen to Steel: Insights into the colorful world of HEMA, its screws, and the people behind it.
History
The beginning: Hans Hermann establishes a small workshop in Schörzingen. Diligence and good work earn him first successes.
The step into cold massive forming is taken. And thus the first step into today’s highly specialized expertise.
Erwin Herrmann takes over the company from his father: Under his leadership, HEMA develops into a strong medium-sized company with national and international customers.
Our portfolio is expanded by various screw plugs. This makes us an important partner for automotive and further industries of the future.
With the expansion of our pressing plant we increase the complexity and possibilities as well as our performance capability as a manufacturer of screws, norm, and drawing parts.
Success generates growth: The expansion of production space is accompanied by the modernization of plants and important measures in terms of sustainability.
The company is taken over by the Keller & Kalmbach Holding and now operates as HEMA Umformtechnik GmbH & Co. KG.
The Green Screw
Working hard. Gentle to the environment.
No wonder others turn green with envy. We from HEMA have been tinkering with the future, and this for quite a while. The Green Screw works hard but is gentle to the environment. Thus, it is the symbol of all our efforts in the field of sustainability.
Compliance
Fairness, integrity, reliability, transparency: Since our company was established, we have been living these values towards our customers and partners, but also towards our employees. It is a major concern for us to comply with these principles of conduct. For further information we are happy to refer to the compliance guidelines of the Keller & Kalmbach group that we also feel obliged to pursue.
