Swabians are well-known for their frugality – and we at HEMA are no different! Our recipe for success in this regard is cold forming. Because, unlike with machining processes such as turning or milling, there are no material losses in our production operations. Instead, the complete metal part is brought into shape under high pressure.

So we don’t create chips. We create heat instead. And we use it throughout our entire facility – which means we save on heating costs as well as material. The heat is stored in a huge water tank and released as required. The water tank, a visible sign, can be seen from a distance and is a shining example of how energy efficient HEMA is.
